Switchback Releases Dooley’s in 16oz Cans

BURLINGTON, Vermont – Switchback Brewing Co., house to Switchback Ale — Vermont’s #1 draught beer, has launched their cult favourite, Dooley’s Belated Porter, in 16oz cans for the primary time. The transfer marks the primary of many Switchback Specials that may transition their method from 12oz bottles to cans all through 2023.

With the addition of a brand new high-speed labeling system, the brewery can now apply customized labels onto cans in-house. “We love the accessibility that placing our beer into cans brings,” says Brewery Founder, Invoice Cherry. “The brand new tools has opened the door for us to reimagine a few of our classics and to introduce new beers from our revolutionary Brewers and Worker Homeowners.”

Dooley’s Belated Porter (named after the brewery’s first worker) was first brewed in 2009 and shortly grew to become an annual favourite for die-hard Switchback followers. It encompasses a mix of roasted and caramelized malts giving it a luscious malt signature that has an earthiness derived from the non-traditional use of flaked barley. The daring use of Simcoe hops for each bittering and aroma highlights this hop varietal and balances the malt to create a sturdy, but clean ending American porter. The newly designed label embodies the darkish, snowy nights of Vermont’s coldest season – the right time to get pleasure from a Dooley’s.
