What we’re mixing:
Chicago
Substances:
15ml cognac
15ml triple sec orange liqueur
2 dashes Angostura Fragrant Bitters
1 brown sugar dice
100ml Champagne or glowing wine to prime
Orange peel garnish
Technique:
Drop the sugar dice right into a champagne coupe or flute and a few dashes of the Angostura Fragrant Bitters on to it. Add the cognac and and triple sec. Fastidiously prime up with the Champagne or glowing wine. Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to precise the oils and discard.
