SAN DIEGO, California – Second Probability Beer Firm and Coronado Brewing Firm have collaborated to brew Canine Seaside Double IPA, a restricted launch out there on draft and in four-packs to go.
The beer, which was brewed at Second Probability’s Carmel Mountain headquarters and has an 8% ABV, is the primary collaboration between the San Diego breweries. It’s out there at Second Probability’s Carmel Mountain and North Park areas, in addition to on draft at Coronado’s taprooms in Bay Park, Coronado, and Imperial Seaside.
Canine Seaside has Mosaic, Strata, and Talus hops with aromas of citrus, pine, and slight earthiness. It’s full bodied, with the citrus and dank notes carrying the flavour alongside refined tropical fruits. As with all Double IPAs, the end is bitter with a gentle malty sweetness.
