Home Invoice 646 Passes in Idaho, Increasing Homebrew Statute

The week of March 14, Idaho Home Invoice 646 handed its ultimate legislative hurdle and was despatched to the Governor’s workplace, the place Governor Lee signed the invoice into regulation on March 22. It’ll go into impact July 1, 2022. 

This easy piece of laws expands the homebrewing statute within the state to incorporate “mead, cider, and different fermented fruit juice drinks for private use,” together with beer and wine which have been already coated within the statute. The regulation continues to restrict manufacturing to 200 gallons per calendar yr if there are two or extra adults residing within the family; 100 gallons per yr if there may be one grownup within the family.
