The Iowa distillery Cedar Ridge has launched its newest expression, Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Produced from 74% corn, 14% rye, and 12% malted barley, the whiskey aged in char #3 barrels, and is non-chill filtered.
The entire barrels age in non-climate managed rickhouses, exposing them to temperature swings of greater than 100 levels annually in Iowa’s local weather.
Followers of Cedar Ridge’s “Authentic 86” Bourbon will get pleasure from this bolder, 116-proof whiskey, the corporate says.
