Martin Lange – Bar Operator – Dying & Taxes, Cobbler & Dr Gimlette, Brisbane
Annually on the Bartender Journal Australian Bar Awards a person is recognised with the award for Excellent Contribution. This award pays tribute to somebody who has made a marked distinction to the bar trade by their ardour and dedication, and who has had an outsized, optimistic impact on the trade.
This yr’s recipient is Martin Lange, a Brisbane bar operator who has been within the hospitality trade for greater than 20 years. He opened his first bar, Sling Lounge, again in 2007 and in 2009, he adopted up with a French Restaurant known as Salon. In 2011, he offered his share of each companies to open Cobbler Bar, Brisbane’s first bar actually devoted to whisk(e)y in 2013.
