anCnoc 12 Single Malt – Total Ideas and Rating

A nicely performed, however pretty commonplace malt, nothing to get too enthusiastic about, however nothing in any respect to dislike. No off notes, no harshness, however not advanced or deep. Only a good, barely above common, simple ingesting malt with a really delicate smoke to it. And I imply s u b t l e.

Generally I choose it up, generally I don’t. In a manner it’s sort of enjoyable to get that smoky shock from time to time, however after I seize one thing on the lookout for that smoke, I need it to be there so it’s not what I’d name a dependable profile. Although that doesn’t cease the anCnoc 12 from being a fantastic utilitarian whisky.

It’s sippable, it’s mixable, it’s simple to crack open and share with visitors once you don’t need to get into the actually good things… it’s a desk whisky. And that’s not a nasty factor. All of us want a good desk whisky in our cuppboards. And in case you’re on the lookout for one, give the anCnoc 12 Single Malt a shot!

SCORE: 3/5 (above common, value testing ~ B- | 80-82)
