Hambledon winery releases Première Cuvée Rosé – Drinks Worldwide

This 12 months, eight years after launching its Première Cuvée, Hambledon are releasing the primary ever rosé model of this wine, its Première Cuvée Rosé.

The rosé glowing wine is produced completely from Hambledon’s personal property on the chalk slopes of Windmill Down.

Ian Kellett, proprietor and managing director of Hambledon, mentioned: “This a significant step for us as we hold constructing essentially the most iconic assortment of world-class English glowing wines.”

This primary model of the Première Cuvée Rosé is a mix primarily based on the 2016 harvest, with some reserve wine from Solera tanks and barrels. The wine is crafted within the conventional saignée methodology, an extended lees ageing, the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022.

The mix is 87.5% saignée Pinot Meunier, 5.2% Pink Pinot Noir and seven.3% Chardonnay and is on the market from UK Nice Wine Retailers in June at an rsp of £75.00.
