Egan’s Legacy Reserve Quantity IV 18 Years Single Malt Irish Whiskey Overview

Additional aged and completed in ex-Moscatel casks, the Egan’s Legacy Reserve Quantity IV 18 Years Single Malt Irish Whiskey will not be the type of Irish Whiskey you see every single day. Partially due to the age, however largely due to the casks.

Within the pantheon of whisky ending casks, Moscatel isn’t precisely what you’d name widespread. Actually, I can solely consider three others off the highest of my head and all three have been restricted releases or single casks. One from Kavlan, one out of Laphroaig and one out of Bunnahabhain. All three have been good with the Laphroaig and Kavalon being nice. Although the one factor all of them had in widespread is that they made me wish to see extra whiskies use these underappreciated casks.

Let’s get to drinkin’!
